I came on student visa in 2006. then i got my first h1b in 2009. and i transfer my h1b to anouther company in 2010. I never went for h1b stamping. i am planning to go for first time stamping in 2012. so selecting appointments for visa interview which option i have to select?

are you
1- resident of india
2- indian citizen resident in us.

i talked with vfs they are saying about 1st option as this is my first time stamping. if i have second time staping then i have to select 2nd option.

any body have same experience and then what option you selected?
