H1b change in JobCode, impact on future transfers

Hi all,

Please help out with my confusion here.
I am currently on an h-1b visa with my employer. I applied for a different position within the same company and got an offer for that position. Now, the new position is somewhat different from my current job, and because of the job description changing, my current employer has to re-file my h1b visa with the new job code.
The issue I am faced with is that I am also looking at new jobs outside my current employer, and hope to find something in the next 2-3 months. If I do find a job with a new employer in the next few months, will my re-filing of h1b from my current employer for the new job code have any negative impact on a potential future transfer to another company (for a different job code even)?

I am confused about this and am wondering if the recent re-filing and then a transfer after a few months will cause issues during the transfer process?

It will not cause any issues. H1B is for speciality occupation. As long as you have the required skills & experience to perform the work that requires an H1B, your petition will get approved (assuming all other documents are in order).
