Name Details

Hi Team,

My biggest concern while filling DS 160 online form is name.
As per my passport me details are as follows:
Surname: ____________(Blank/not available)
Given Names: Rahul.

So please suggest what needs to be entered in Surname and Given Names field of DS160 form.
I am a bit confused and worried by seeing responses from various sources, Please help.

You have to enter Rahul under last name and FNU under first name.
This can create complications for you later. If you have some time, it is better to get your passport changed so that it will have a last name and first name and use those in all Visa applications. If you traditionally don't use a last name, your father's name or some such substitution will be okay. But that will reduce a lot of complications later.
