Change Job on H1b Visa

Dear All,

I am on H1b Visa. This week is my last working day for the current job. I just found a new job and they will be spondering me H1b visa but it takes atleast 3 to 4 weeks to start my new job. Can I still stay in USA during this time? Please do reply on this thread.

Technically you are out of status as of the last working day with the current employer until the time you join the new one. When you are out of status, the transfer can get approved without a new I-94. Check the response to a very similar question in the below thread.
