Hi Shervin143,

i went to mumbai for H1B interview..on 20th Dec 2011.
that time VO has issued me 221g blue form..and asking
some more docs from petitioner's side.. and that one i had submitted after few days.

i was keep checking abt my process..and i got mail
from US mumbai consulate.like
request you to submit the photographs of petitioner's office..
so i will be going to submit the photographs..to vfs office

could you please tell me .is this a positive sign for my case..?
and how long will it take time to finish my admin processing.

please let me know and give me some input or suggestion...

It is a positive sign because they are processing your case. But no one can predict the outcome of the admin process. That will be based on the documents that you have submitted and what they have decided based on that. The time that will take to resolve the admin process cannot be determined either. But since they are actively processing your case, you can expect to hear a reply from them soon.

Expired H1(but never worked on H1)- Can I got for L1 TO H1 now?

Dear Shervin,

I got H1B approved on Aug 26, 2006 (applied as COS when I was working on L1 B visa) but never worked on H1B. I had to leave to India on Jan 2007. Again, I entered USA in Aug 2009 and has been working on L1B. My L1B visa was expired last year but working on valid I-94 which is valid till Dec 2013.

Right now, I am planning to apply for H1 B in 2013 quota.

I heard that If I apply H1B now, I will not come under 2013 CAP as I had already approved H1B (in 2006). Is that True?

Does my previous approved H1B petition (I had EAC#) carry any weightage?

Please advise the best direction for me.
