I got my h1b in aug 2004 and came to India in end of Aug. I have been on h1b visa in India for a period of 10 months for personal reasons. I will be returning back in June end 2005 and havent been paid for all these months, what are the probs i can face in immigration? What docs would i need to carry? I am carrying a letter from my employer stating that i am still an employee with their company and was in India for personal reasons.
Is there a possibility they could ask for my pay stubs? Can I get away with saying I had taken leave of absence?
Please advise/help/ suggest asap.
