Money transfer from H4 bank acc to india

I'm on H1B Visa and I want to know if it is against law to transfer money to Indian bank account from my wife's (H4) bank account ?

Nothing illegal in transferring as long as money source is not illegal and is not used for illegal purposes after transfer. This is my opinion.
