Hello,
I am on an F-1 OPT status and, recently my H-1B petition has been approved with change of status effective Oct 1.
Now, I have a required travel outside US from the end of September to the beginning of October.
I searched a lot of websites and I understand that there is some risk for a travel before Oct 1.
But I think my situation is a little different because I come back after Oct 1.
Of course, I plan to go to a consulate and obtain a H-1B visa stamp before I come back to US.
Could you guys share your idea about my plan?
Do you think this is okay?
