Hi ,

I applied for H1 Visa (Work Permit visa) last year . I went for Stamp at chennai Us Consulate office. (India).
They have refused my visa at that time. After some time my employer had talk with IRS and now they have re-openend my case.

My Case number is like WTC- YYYY YYYY XX -AAA.

I try to search status on uscis site but it does not allow me to add this big size of number.

I am wondering how to check the status of re-opened case.

Is any chance for H1B stamp success ?

How they proceed with new opened case ?

If USCIS is satisfied with your employer's response, they will re-affirm the petition. IF that happens, you can take the re-affirmation notice to the Consulate and they will issue you the Visa or at least re-open your Visa application.

There is no way to check the status. You will have to wait for USCIS to revert back. You can try your previous H1B approval notice number in uscis.gov. But the information there may not be accurate and you cannot depend on that.
