H1b Visa at Mumbai and Yellow Slip with PIMS

H1b Petition approved on 9th April 2012.Attended interview Mumbai (India) consulate on 26th April 2012.Visa Officer rejected my visa and issued yellow slip writing PIMS, gave back my passport and asked us to submit once they contact me in approximately 24-48 hours.

Waiting from 4 weeks no update,last week our attorney contacted USCIS and they confirmed that they sent my file to KCC.
VFS website current status states: passport under processing with consulate/embassy.

Please suggest much worried

Write to the consulate to check the status. If it is just PIMS, it will get cleared. If they needto do additional admin processing, then it will take time.

Thanks for the update,I consulted consulate 12 days back through vfs to understand whats happening with my case but no reply from...
Can my attorney could do any thing from my side,like contacting embassy..

My current employer applied a petition got approved recently
1.Can I go for new visa stamping while this is in pending
2.Do I have to cancel pending visa stamping application
3.will consulate will request to revoke my pending visa(petition)

Please suggest how to handle this scenario…

>>> Are you going for the visa stamping again with a different employer's petition. If yes, then you can certainly do that. If the visa application that is currently under 221g is for the same employer, then you cannot do that. You have to wait for the 221g to get completed.

>>> Yes.

3.will consulate will request to revoke my pending visa(petition)
>>> Yes. You cannot apply for two H1B visa applications at the same time.
