I was on L2 visa with EAD for 3 years. Then I got H1B for another 3 years. till 2013 Dec. But after 7 months on H1B due to some personal reasons I resigned from job and changed to H4 visa.
Now I am getting some offers and they are willing to transfer my H1B(Since I have an approved H1B). My question is how long I can be in H1B with out applying a GC?
I heard that maximum duration of H1B or L1B+H1B is 6 years.
So will the L2 period also be counted or not?
