Cancelling Visa Appointment

Due to some travel related problem, I need to postpone my visa appointment by three days. I am thinking of canceling my existing appointment. Can I take new appointment with my old DS 160 confirmation? There will be no changes in the information provided in the DS 160.

Secondly, does it any way affect the interview?
