I received 221G Yellow Slip from the the embassy .

Hi,

I am working in a Software Company with the staff around 100 people.

On 18th May, 2011 I attended for an interview for H1B Visa in Hyderabad US Consulate and my visa was left for a query, I received 221G Yellow Slip from the the embassy .

Interview - Consular Asked me few Questions and then requested me to show the documents. I have given him all the docs. and Consular kept with him and gave me 221G Yellow letter which mentioned my docs are in administrative processing and the consular has request the petitioner documents, we dropped the documents on On 16th April, 2012 .

After my Employer and I frequently sent emails to Hyderabad consulate but no response yet.
My Original documents are with them.

If any one faced this kind of situation, can you please help me in sharing your experience that when can I expect response from US Consulate and my passport as well.

This is not new. There are plenty of posts on 221g / admin processing where people have posted their experiences. Search and read them.

Hi,

Same case happened with me also.Embassy won;t reply anything and moreover VFS also doesn't know anything about it.

What you can do is to wait and watch only and it might be the case that you have to reappear for interview also..
