H1B approval time line

Hi,

we have filled my wife's H1B for this year. Its filled under normal process. Its already 2 months but still there is no status update on this. Please any one can comment if they have received(Approved/denied/RFE) the H1B. Also if you know the specific reason for this.

The employer will receive a receipt notice after filing. Recently I read somewhere that USCIS is taking as long as 2 months to even issue the receipt notice.
After the employer gets receipt, you can track the application processing online.
