Query on visa slot booking

I have approved I129 Petition(H1 B),in which the consulate is mentioned as CHENNAI,Can I take my interview in Hyderabad Location.Please clarify.

For me it was the same case. I appeared at Hyderabad location when petition and client invitation letter was meant for Chennai. It does not create any issues for visa slot booking and interview AFAIK.
