L-H conversion gap period

My employer is applying for L-H conversion this year and my L1 is getting expired in July and my I-94 is valid till Dec 2013.

Am I eligible to work from Jul-October or should I apply L extension to cover-up the gap.

I-94 is the one that will determine until when you can live/work in U.S. Since your I-94 is valid until Dec 2012, you can continue to stay and work.
