H1B Petition & Client Letter

Hi,

There is one employer who is ready to file a new H1 petition for me. However he mentioned that he going to use a letter from an existing client. What I believe is that he is going to use a **** letter. I have following letter in this regard:

1. I just wanted to know what are chances of getting petition approved if letter is not genuine?
2. Does USCIS conducts client letter inquiry for each and every petition?
3. What would be the worst case consequences in case they detect the letter as ****? - Petition would obviously get rejected - but is there anything apart from this as candidate being black listed forever?

>>> No one can answer these kind of questions. What you are asking is, if you (your employer) produce a **** document, whether USCIS will figure out that or not. Who knows?

>>> Petition will get rejected. Since the petition if filed by the employer with a **** document it will affect the employer. If any of your documents are **** (like educational certificates, experience certificates etc) then it will affect you. I would suggest you to find a good employer. It is because of employers like these the whole H1B process is getting a lot of scrutiny these days.
