Is H4 done or rejected?

Hi All,

My dependents went for H4 visa interview at US Embassy in london last week. After asking few questions, interviewer told them that he will process their visas and kept their passports.

Should we consider that their visas are approved or we can be assured only once we get passports back?

I am feeling nervous so asking because my all plans are dependent on this.

There are cases where the application went into further admin processing after a successful visa interview. Search and read the posts on 221g / admin process. Wait patiently for 2 weeks. Hopefully everything is okay and you will get the passports back with the visa stamp. There is no point in panicing for no reason.
