H1B Transfer and GC

Hi,

I am working for a Company A and company B sponsered my GC as future employee and got my I 140 approved, now I applied for H1B tranfer to Company B, Company B is ok to join them only if H1B is approved. As of now I am working with Company A and I am on there Payrole, If the H1B transfer to Conmpany B gets denied will I lose my current H1B with Company A or Can I continue working with Company A.
Once my dates are current can company B apply for my 485 even though H1B is denied.
