Travel to India on valid H1 from previous company and valid I-797 from current compny

Hi, I have a valid H1 Visa till this year end(Nov 30th , 2012) from my previous employer. I transferred the H1 to new employer and have a valid I-797 till Nov, 2014. Is stamping required if I travel to India in August and come back to US within 2 weeks? Will it be ok to show my valid Visa with the previous company and the valid I-797 with the new employer at the port of entry?
A quick reply would be appreciated!!

Not required. You can use the existing Visa and new employer's approval notice to return.
