H1 Visa Help

Hi,

We have received the H1 Visa aproval notice from USCIS today. I wanted some advise on some of the people who have progressed further ahead in this process when can one expect an interview date on the same.

Does the interview date come in first week of oct overlapping with ur joining or do they appprove the visa before the start date of 1st october 2012

You can apply for the H1B visa at the U.S consulate 3 months prior to the H1B petition effective date. Visa will be approved and it will not have any effective from date. However, you can enter U.S only 10 days prior to the H1B effective date.
