H4: I94 expires three days before the valid from date starts on h4 extension document

Applied my H1 and my wife's H4 extension at the same time
my h1b expires 7/10/12
H4 expires on 7/7/12
both got approved but the extension document has valid from date on H4 and H1 as 7/11/12
I was thinking my wife's should start from 7/8/12
will it be a issue in future

It can be an issue. The time spend in U.S between the current I-94 expiry date and the next I-94 effective date will be treated as illegal stay. It can either be a mistake when you filed form I-539 or it could be a mistake on USCIS part. Check with the employer/attorney who filed the extensions. If it is a USCIS's mistake, they will fix it for free.
