Hi,
I have a job offer from a leading company. The company tried to apply for my H1 but could not make it before the cap was closed ( I'm on F1 visa, pursuing my PhD, and I will need atleast another year to graduate). What are my options here? Please advice.
1. I took up PhD right after graduating from my MS, never used my MS OPT. If I quit PhD, can I work for the company on OPT from my Master's?
2. If not, can I work out-of-state on CPT during Fall and Spring semesters (while continuing my PhD)? This job is in California but I attend a school in Louisiana.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
