H1B extension eligibility?

This is my first visit to US.
01-Jun-2012 I have entered into USA and my VISA is going to expire on 30-Jul-2012.
If I apply for H1 extension, whether my extension will approve or rejected? Because I came here a month back?

If any specific number of days we should stay in US for apply H1B extension?

Extension can be applied a maximum 6 months before your I-94 expiry. Generally, at least 1 paystub needs to be available as evidence that you are maintaining H1 status.

Make sure the documents for extending your status reaches USCIS before your current I-94 expiry date.
