H1b Visa Stamping with Extended i 797

Hi ,

I am on my Secod H1b ,last year i got approval for 1 year from 2011 to 2012 october,recently in JUne i got extension for 3 more years.if i go for the Stamping which I 797 i should Submit,if i go for stamping now can i get the stamping upto 2015 or justupto OCt 2012.

Fill DS160 with the information from your extended I-797. Carry both the approval notices when you go for the visa stamping. The visa (if approved) will be issued till the expiry date of your latest approval notice (Assuming your passport remains valid for more than a year). If you enter before your previous I-797 expiry date, then carry both the approval notices and show them to the officer at the POE and get the I-94 until the extended petition expiry date.
