Traveling with Previous Employer H1B Stamping valid till april 2013

Hi,

I changed my job recently and my previous H1b stamping which is valid till april 2013. I need to travel to india soon, Can I travel with my previous employer stamping + I797 approved form? I just want to confirm this rules remain same as I read in web.
