Hi,

I work for an MNC and I am planning to apply for H1B visa. The thing is I already have a B1 visa which I got it from my previous company. When I applied for B1 visa I had shown previous work experience from X and Y companies.

When I joined my current company I had changed my previous experience from X and Y to Z and Y. Now if I apply for H1B visa will there be any problem for me. I am seriously concerned about this.

Also let me know if US consulate does any background verification.

They will do background verification if needed. That will be a part of the administrative processing. If you give any false information while filing Ds160 and if they figure it out, you can be banned to enter U.S for your life. Takeout all your **** experience and enter the right information.
