H1B 221G success- Mumbai consulate - April 2012
Hi,
Just wanted to share my experience of H1B stamping and 221g.
I had my PAI on 11th April 2012 in Mumbai, VC asked me total 5 questions and handed me 221g blue slip. Don’t know what she judged in those five minutes.
In 221G, VC asked to furnish Job advertisement.
I went to my employer and we responded 221g on 18th April 2012 with Job add, a letter to consulate and some other supporting docs.
After around 2 months, I got an Email from Mumbai consulate; they asked me to submit my passport.
Around a week later I got my stamped passport.
Good luck to all those who got 221g.
