H1 b visa interview query

Hi All,

I will be appearing for h1b visa interview next month sponsored by my current company.

My doubt is last year in 2011 my previous company applied B1 visa for me, but I did not go for visa interview on the scheduled date.

So not appearing for visa interview earlier will cause any issue? Can they ask me the reason for not appearing in the interview ?
Anything i need to take care while answering this question ?
