  • H1B Stamping when there is a middle layer

    Hi,

I work for company A. My client is a very reputed client. However, the SOW is in favor of company B which in turn contracts company A.

In essence, there is a layer between my employer and the end client. This change happened recently, though company A was a preferred vendor to the client so far.

I plan to go to India for stamping sometime soon. My H1B transfer done in US was approved till 2014. Will I face any issues in stamping due to the middle layer? Please share any experiences.

    Thanks!

Search and read the posts on 221g / admin processing. If you cannot prove employer / employee relationship (Happens when you have layers between your employer and the client), it can be an issue in getting the visa stamped.
