Add Spouse Name in passport for H4 application

Hi All,

My spouse will be applying for H4 at Mumbai Consulate.

I have heard that it is mandatory to have "Spouse name (Principal Applicant's name)" in the passport when dependent goes for H4 visa.

Please advise.
