I needed advice on a doubt I had regarding the date I can enter the US.
I have a H1B visa with a petition that states that I can start work on 01-Oct-2012. My visa states that I can enter the US after 22-Sep-2012.
My question is the following: given that I have a joining date on my offer letter of 15-Oct-2012 , can I enter the US say on 28th Sep? Is the 10-day restriction of entry based on H1B approval date (01-Oct) or on my joining date (which is 15-Oct)?
