Hello Everyone,
I know this particular question has been asked many a times and I've read almost a 100 different responses and still have the same question. Sorry about that.
I entered the US on Company A's H1 visa and my wife came along on H4. Recently I switched employers and I traveled back to India and got my visa stamping done for Company B. My wife didn't travel with me hence her passport still has the H4 for Company A. Her H4 is valid until May of 2013. Now Company B attorneys are filing for the H4 extension for my wife. I would like to travel to Canada for Christmas. I will apply for tourist visas shortly. Now the question is - Can my wife travel to and come back from Canada with the old H4 ( also the new approval will be there )?
Also while we are in Canada can we apply for the new H4 Stamping so that it makes life easier for future travels to Canada?
