Successful H1b Stamping mumbai
I just got my H1b stamping done on 10th sept. 7:45 AM. Interview went really well and surprisingly visa officer didn't ask me much question related to job.
Application date: 29th April (Regular Processing)
Change in process: 11th August (Premium process)
Approval date: 18th August
Reached at consulate at 7:15 and there was a big line but still from inside i was feeling like "I don't care even if i won't get visa" !! Went inside and there was a big line for getting interview number. After getting number and waited for an hour finally VO called me for interview.
Me: Good morning Sir. How are you doing?
VO: said I am good (With smiling face)
Me: How is monday blue?
VO: I hate working on monday morning (with lazy smile).. Specially this sept and oct. Students and H1 flow is twice than any other month in a year.
VO asked for I797 and passport. After seeing my student visa, he directly stamped "Cancelled without Prejuidice". Heart rate increased but still I was calm at same time.
VO: Are married or single.
Me: Single.
VO: Any plan for getting married.
Me: Not in near future.
VO: Don't get marry dude.. Life is so expansive after marriage.
I was laughing after hearing this on ticket window.
VO: So what's your company name?
Me: It's XYZ
VO: And what will the anual salary?
Me: it's $ YYYY X
VO: Is it direct?
Me: yes
VO: Looking at computer screen (I crossed my finger and was waiting for golden words.)
VO: Ok your visa is approved
Me: thank you sir.
And next moment i left window tuck out my shirt while walking. Went to cafetaria in consulate and got the gatorade (energy drink).
Only thing i feel that VO saw my confidence. No "Hmmm" or "Ummmm" word while I speak. and of course a smiling face.
