I am currently working in a media company on H1B. This is my 7th year running in H1B. This employer applied GC in EB3 category, I-140 is approved. Priority date is May, 2009. Current H1 extension is there till Jun 2014. Job in this company is fine, no chance to layoff.
I got an offer from a finance company. They said they can transfer H1B and can start Green Card processing in EB2 category in 6 months. Salary hike is 20%.
If I change the job, my current employer will definitely revoke my I-140.
In this situation, is it worthy to change the employer and take this offer?
