Dependents Visa Info

Hi,

I am on H1B Visa valid till Mar'15. My parents want to come to US for some time.

I need to know the maximum duration my parents can stay here (also, let me know the Visa type)

Is there any option to extend the stay without going back to home country?

They are unable to get any dependent visa.

They can visit the U.S. on tourist visa for a short time.
