question about H1B

Hi all!!

i came to US in aug 2004 on H4 visa..its been 1.8 years..now i want to convert from h4 to h1...but exactly i dont know when the H1 kota starts and ends in a year...can anyone please help me in this?

as u asked about the H1b it starts from the april 1st and for this year its already closed the filing and it willstart again in the april 2008

Since it is health care professional forum, you must first know whether you qualify for an H1 visa.

Foreign graduates MBBS,MD, BDS not eligible to get H1 unless they obtained state license to practice their respective field.
