  • Completing AAS this year

    Hi,

    I need a help.
I am completing the AAS ( Associate in Applied Science, Major- Nursing)this year.
I heard that H1C visas are very limited in number and it is very difficult to get one.
So Can I apply in H1B category?
Also How much is the current wait time for getting green card for an RN.

    Earliest reply would be appreciated.

    Hi Snair,

I dont know why you have to apply for the H1C visa category. Because i see most of the people who come from other countries (fresh Graduates) are holding the green card. Since there is a huge demand in USA.

Can you give more information about the visa status if you are in USA?

Being RN you can directly apply for green card if you are outside USA. If you are in USA, probably you can apply for the green card and work there are many agencies they do this.

I am not an expert but i spoke to so many people who is holding green card based on nursing profession. Good luck!!!

    regards

Since I am on a greencard I would like her to come to USA soon. How can she apply for her green on nursing based from India? Or what other option do I have besides just waiting for petition on family based.

She has done midwife and has ICU experience for last 4 years in hospital. She does not have RN yet but planning to attend soon.

Can you please provide me the steps to proceed this furthers.
