Hi,

I have appeared for my USMLE Step 1.
I plan to get a visitors visa to give my
Step 2 CS and Step 3. Is it possible for
me to convert it to a H1B at the time
when i get a residency? I would not want
to get it through a J1 visa as i want to practise
in the US. I'm totally clueless in this matter.
It would be a great help if anybody out there
can clarify this process to me and suggest the
possible routes for me. please respond at the earliest!

What about Step2ck?
You may be denied a visa for cs if you do not have ck scores.

ya thats true peace
he can be denied the visa if he doesnt get visa
but i have seen few cases who got visa with step 1 scores as visa conditions have been relaxed these days
whatever i feel
why to take risk n hurry
try giving step 2 ck if you can ..
H-1 depends on the univs you are applying and your scores , performances and lots of other stufffs
thr is still long way to go buddy ..

in short H-1 , and J-1 dont depend on your tourist b-1 , b-2 visa they totally depend on which colleges you r applying and other stuffs and colleges criterion .
