Ok. so about a six months ago we had a fallout with my mother in law she took a simple request way out of context and started threatening my wife and my baby and me essentially by saying that she will get me deported if we don't agree to what she wants i recently became a permanent resident about a month or so ago and have been working hard ever since i stepped foot on American Soil i have never been on any kind of criminal activity here nor in my home land and have no criminal record of any sort... she is just mad that we dont give into what she wants. my question is do i have to worry about her and me having any issue i dont think so but i want reassurance

Is your spouse a citizen? Did your spouse sponsor you? If so, it is your relationship with your spouse that matters. Does your green card have conditions? Until those are removed you will have to maintain husband-wife relationship. This is my opinion and not legal advice.

Once you have your conditional greencard, the only way to be deported is if you divorce. Once you have your uncondition greencard (usually two years after your gc was approved), nobody can have you deported unless you commit a serious criminal offense.
