Relocation to Connecticut,USA

Hello Friends,

My husband,myself and my daughter aged 9 will be relocating to USA Connecticut area, this is my first visit. I have few questions in my mind and would like some response to them,appreciate if someone responds to my query:

1) My husband's office will be in Stamford, which place near to his office will be a good school district with Indian community to find house for us to stay.
2) she will be going to 4th std from June as per Indian std of education, what is the set up in USA?

Ct is good place I went lot of times.

Be prepared its very cold over there.

Mostly indian std meets this school system.
