I recently lost my US passport having the U Visa sticker that came along with my OCI card. I need to travel to USA in the coming month. I have got a new passport but it does not have a U Visa sticker now. I called up at the FRRO and they told me that for departure from India, the U Visa sticker is not required in the passport. My question is:when I am going through the immigrations at the airport, won't they ask for a Visa or something to be present in my new passport?
