enter legally but now overstayed

Is it possible to adjust status if you entered the US with a visa but overstayed and stayed here ??? Case in point - a foreign couple enter with their visas than stayed had 3 kids here. Can they somehow get a green card ??? They pay their taxes no violations of any kind or deportation record.

They can't get Green Cards (Adjust status) without a legal basis for Green Card status. Just being here (and having overstayed visitor visas) does not qualify them for legal status.
