Hello!
I have a lot of questions about my opportunities ever getting a gc, becoming a citizen or getting a visa with paying wage. I am 23 years old male who is few months away from getting my Bachelors degree in Environmental management and planning. I go to a University that is in top of 400 in the world which means nothing in California, where I want to immigrate. University of California Los Angeles is on top 10 + ten other campuses and universities. I have not done any significant research or have any special abilities that someone from California does not have. I have worked in United States for three summers with J1 visa, two summers as an independent contractor selling educational books and third summer as a bartender. I have a social security number. My country qualifies as h2b visa country. I am not able to enroll into a college in California because of me or my family do not have the financial resources for it. I also do not have a wife/husband from United States and it is out of the question because its just extreme to marry someone because of a green card. I also did my research about my country specialty jobs in Los Angeles and there was no other then the Embassy. It is also almost impossible to find a paid Internship in Environmental management for more then 2 months near Los Angeles. I would have a job as a bartender in California but it does not qualify as a skilled worker or would never ever get me a green card. I just wanted to know what kind of other opportunities do I have immigrating to United States if I dont have any special skills or money to go to college in USA. Also waiting for the green card lottery has not paid off. What would you do in my situation?Finding a sponsor for H1B visa for no ordinary skills is also impossible. Please all kind of stories and advice is welcome.
Sincerely,
Tim.
