Hi All,
I am preparing to file form I-485 to adjust status and I will include form I-912 with the package.
I am having trouble deciding the basis for requesting a fee waiver, cause the situation is between low poverty guidelines and financial hardship.
The problem is I started a new job in the second half of 2013 and the income from the new job is above poverty guidelines but because my income from the previous job was really low then my tax return for all 2013 is below the poverty guidelines. So I am not sure if they are going to judge my case by the whole tax year total or by my recent job.
I have 3 kids and my wife doesn't work, we have a lot of expenses every month and our income doesn't cover all our expenses, so I was thinking that may be it will be better to file on basis of financial hardship.
What do you guys think??
