i am trying to file the affidavit of support for my wife, but i have a problem completing the file. on the income part, we only had $16,000 on my last tax return 2013, but if i look at our current income which i guess will be the next 12 month salary combine, we will make around $25,000. so my questions are:
1) will the application be deny if they see that my last year income was less than the125% of the poverty guide line?
2) which income do they really base their decision on; current income or last tax return?
3) can i still send my application with all the proof that i am still working?
i just remind you that my husband was a full time student and did not that much before he graduate. he is working part time now and just start gaining more income
