If your marriage is not going well and are going to divorce after almost 3 years and didn't apply for a green card for work,live and stay in the US, can you still apply for the green card after divorce ?

Once you are divorced from a U.S. citizen or Green Card spouse, and you are still living outside the U.S., you have lost your "petitionable" relationship and are not eligible for a visa. If you have been living in the U.S. while this occurred, and you have evidence of being abused by your husband, you do have an option to "self-petition" as an abused spouse.
