Hello,
I (and my family members) have an IV stamped on my passport and we are planning our journey to the US for Aug/Sept. I am concerned about how long the airport/customs procedures might take given that we have IV's. Based on that, I may need to plan a sufficiently long transit gap at the POE (which is likely to be Newark / EWR). I understand that apart from fingerprinting, there will be a process to stamp a temporary I-551 and allied procedures based on review of the medical files etc - I just cant figure out how long it might take, after having gone through countless websites!
Any input on this is welcome - along with tips on the procedures and any dos/donts.
