Passport Validity, H1B and Immigration

Hi All,

I got my H1 stamped in September 05 last week and will be travelling to US in 3rd week of February 2006. My H1 Validity is till Aug 07.

But, my passport 10 year validity is going to expire on May 26, 2006. Should i worry? I plan to get my passport extended once i reach US. Will i be facing any issues in the Immigration and till what time will the I-94 be issued?

Please help as time is short for me and not sure how long will it take to get my passport renewed in India.

You can travel on your current passport.

When you get your passport renewed in US, you just carry both the passports with you.
