I am in a bit of a situation and wanted to see if anyone can help.
I originally came to the US in 2000 as H1B. In 2005, applied for GC and in 2008 got my I-140 approved and since then been on EAD (and Advanced Parole) for travel. I also had my H1B extended every 3 years. The last time we did the extension was in 2012 and it expired in Jun 2015. So right now while I have the EAD, I do not have a valid H1B.
I was wondering if there is a process to apply for H1B again after it has expired? Has anyone done it and if so, know what process/hurdles there are?
Thanks
